Welfare Benefits Advice for the Over 60's

Have you ever considered if you are receiving all of the benefits that you are entitled to? Do you know what benefits you can get?

Paul Robinson has recently joined the Alnwick and District Citizens Advice Bureau as a Welfare Benefits Caseworker for the over 60's. This service is funded by the Northern Rock Foundation.

The Citizens Advice Bureau offers free, independent, impartial and confidential advice and we can carry out a benefits check for you to ensure you are receiving the correct amount of money each week.

If you are entitled for further financial help, we can help you complete the application forms and assist you with your benefit claims.

If you are about to make a new claim or have received renewal forms for Disability Living Allowance or Attendance Allowance, we may be able to help you complete the forms.

If you are having any problems with your benefit claims at all, please contact us for advice and we may be able to contact the Department for Work and Pensions, the Local Authority or the Pension Service on your behalf to help resolve the issue.

Appointments can be made for the Alnwick or Amble Citizens Advice Bureaux, Monday to Friday. If you are unable to leave your home, we may also be able to arrange a home visit for you instead.

Please contact Alnwick and District Citizens Advice Bureau today on 01665 604135 to make your appointment.
